The celebration of Teacher's Day at the school level this time is held simultaneously with the celebration of Labor Day. This time the celebration was a bit late since the students sat for mid-year exams.
Although a bit late, the reception was very lively and the students seemed eager to release the pressure after the exam.
The morning event started with a morning assembly and a soccer and netball competition between teachers and students. The school was noisy with cheering voices from the students supporting their respective teams.
In the evening there was a performance by the students to the teacher. Only first year and sixth year students are involved in performing.
The theme for this celebration is Malay Heritage. So the performance students, teachers and staff need to wear clothes according to the theme.
Everyone is dressed beautifully. Some wear turbans, batik cloth, bertangak, bersampin symbolizing Malay heritage.
