Campaign Story
The first phase of MKHAQ has been completed and collected involving the construction of 5 vocational workshop units. The construction of this phase is estimated to involve a cost of RM 520,000.
Kiyai Haji Ali Qaribun (MKHAQ) is a tahfiz education institution integrated with vocational education. This is one of the preparations for tahfiz students to enter the field of work related to vocational skills. With the hope that MKHAQ graduates will become preachers, spreading the true teachings of Islam in their respective fields of work.
The name MKHAQ was taken in conjunction with famous scholars in Selangor in the past. This figure is named Kiyai Muhammad Ali Qaribun who resides in Kampung Sijangkang. This figure is also the founder of the earliest pondok school in Selangor, Pondok Kiyai Muhammad Ali Qaribun around 1917. This was acknowledged by the Sultan of Selangor, the late Sultan Alaudin Sulaiman Syah in 1925. (Source: Research in Islamic Studies (RIS) Universiti Malaya Vol 7 , No. 3(2020;31-39)
This MKHAQ madrasah was built on a 1 acre of private waqf land located at Lot 15283 Jalan Rumbia Batu 8 Kampung Sijangkang Telok Panglima Garang Selangor.
The construction process is divided into 4 phases:
- Phase 1: Construction of 5 vocational workshop units
- Phase 2: Construction of a 2-story class building (LATEST Phase)
- Phase 3: Construction of 2 blocks of 2-storey buildings for the use of dormitories, canteens and madrasah offices.
- Phase 4: Preparation of fields, sports courts, roads and other facilities.
Therefore, the foundation opens the widest opportunity for all philanthropists to contribute together in the construction of this madrasah.
